Does Mike Babcock Read Joeyblueskies.com?

Turns out Mike Babcock is an everyday reader of JBS.com and decided to go with my game plan last night against the Coyotes. The Wings were more physical, converted on the powerplay, and stayed out of the box during big moments. Shit was perfection. This game could even be considered one of the greatest Redwing playoff games I've ever watched and if you can't get on board with hockey after a game like that then I'm not gonna waste my time trying to convince you. The pace of that game was fuckin blistering and favored the Wings even though Phoenix looked like they might keep up for a bit. There were 5 goals scored in the second period in a 4 minute span. Unfuckinbelievable.

And the big guns, boy did they show up. Zetterberg continued to make his case for being the best all around forward in hockey today and I loved the Detroit faithful who were getting loud at the end of this one and tossed their hats on the ice when Hank did his spin-o-rama off the faceoff and slide his third of the night into the empty net. Oh and bringing up Abdelkader was an absolutely brilliant move on Babs' part. The Wings didn't get dominated physically and in fact Kronwall and Abdelkader got a shit ton of good licks in on the Yotes all night long and Ab even put in a really big goal last night. Filppula continued his underrated brilliance and their line was untouchable all night long. Even Todd Bertuzzi, the Brandon Inge of the Redwings looked great. I guess even blind squirrels find a nut every now and again.

Now if the Wings can stop handing the puck over directly in front of our net things should fall into place and we can get a little rest before the next series after we take these next 3. Someone get out my white gloves already. Stanley is coming home.
