JBS Movie Night - "American Movie" Parts 1 & 2

e$ thought my first post of the day about the differences between dudes who spend their free time speedflying and myself who can barely keep from spilling my coffee on my morning commute, sounded a bit suicidal. But all the Skiers can rest assured knowing that anytime I start to get stressed out, I just sit down with my psychiatrist Mark Borchardt and all the stress melts away.

PS - I had to go with parts 1 and 2 cause for those of you not familiar with the subject matter of this movie, Mark Borchardt, he really hits his stride starting at the 6:30 mark of part 2. Although every second of this classic is gold.

JBS Movie Night: Detroit Pistons NBA Champs Part 1 - Kicking Off The Regular Season

It's kind of a shame that 7 years later we're still rolling with 3 of the 5 major pieces that made up this championship team and we're expected to miss the playoffs. The '04 team completely bought in and once they added Sheed they had every piece in place to wreak havoc on the NBA.

I earlier predicted the Stones to have a miserable year and win a max of 28 games, but even after being up in the first half against the Nets thus far I'm still only gonna set the over/under at 31 wins. T-Mac has bricked every shot he's thrown up and for some reason we keep going to Maxiel every trip down the floor even though we have Ben "Been There Before" Gordon on our team. Gonna be a long year.

JBS Movie Night - Detroit Lives: Part 3 of 3

This entire series has made me appreciate Johnny Knoxville a whole lot more because he had no real reason for doing it and now I'm probably gonna go see Jackass 3D just because of it. It's been a nice ride thus far so lets finish this one out and Ill get on something sweet for next week. I'm thinking we might need a little reminder of how Detroit can fuckin dominate the sports scene. Rip nailing every jumper he takes should do the trick. Yes Sirrrrrrrrrrr!

JBS.com Movie Night - Detroit Lives: Part 2

In addition to watching Detroit 187 tonight be sure to check out part 2 of Detroit Lives. Slightly uneventful but Johnny Knoxville makes up for it with his humor. Look for my Detroit 187 review tomorrow.

JBS.com Movie Night Is Back - Presenting "BURN"

BURN Trailer from Tremolo Productions on Vimeo.

JBS helped launch the youtube sensation, "Requiem For Detroit" a few months back and we had people knocking down the doors to get more of that shit. This trailer for a documentary called "Burn" uses a lot of that same footage and follows a group of Detroit firefighters through their daily lives. The documentary isn't completed yet but the trailer is hoping to elicit some funds in order to finish the film. I ain't giving shit cause this sounds too much like Mark Borchardt to me but hey if you'd like to donate, go to detroitfire.org or if not just watch it for free like me.

JBS Mid Week Movie Is Back - Presenting NARC

This is easily my favorite movie about Detroit and is the film equivalent of The Wire which is as good a show as there is. If you have some time before or after the Tigers game tonight make sure to give it a watch. Ray Liotta and Busta Rhymes give an electric performance.

PS - We're done messing with 10 minute clips of movies. Thank Bmase for delivering the entire movie in one shot.
