Freep - A former Detroit Red Wings executive has been indicted on a charge of possession of child pornography after being caught up in an online FBI sting. Matthew Brown, who resigned as vice president of corporate partnership sales for the Detroit hockey team, was indicted May 4, according to U.S. Eastern District Court records. Brown was arraigned on May 10 in U.S. District Court. Brown was arrested at his home in Northville in December after he traded photographs of nude preteen girls with an undercover FBI officer through an online computer file-sharing program, according to investigators. When confronted, Brown admitted to investigators he had downloaded about 100 pictures of nude children, according to the criminal complaint.
Oh for fuck's sake, Wings. Just when I thought I couldn't feel any lower about you, you go and do something like this. Now instead of wearing my Franzen shirt all over town this summer and reminding people about how he scored 4 goals in one game I can't even think about busting out the winged wheel. I can just hear all the Blackhawk slappys taking shots at the Wings for this chink in the armor. I do love the way the Wings are handling this though. Introducing the dude to the FBI and then cutting all ties is what you do in this situation because people like this are the scum of the fuckin earth. Eat shit and die dude. Eat shit and die.
