Sharks, How Does Franzen's Dick Taste?
Wings came out last night and put an old fashioned hurtin on San Jose. They backed the truck all the way up and opened up the biggest can of whoop ass they could find all over the Sharks. This game was basically the NHL equivalent of an intentional walk. The Sharks just went through the motions for the last 2 1/2 periods of this one praying for it to be over. The only thing they accomplished was letting the league know they are a bunch of classless assholes led by their douche bag captain Joe Thornton who was trying to pick a fight with anyone he could find, including 40 year old Nick Lidstrom who just laughed it off. Only guy who seemed interested in throwing was Abdelkader who might be the worst, most eager fighter I've ever seen. I mean look at this picture, what the hell is he doing? Dudes trying to fuckin scratch out Scott Nichols eyes like a velociraptor or something. Not to mention that Abs can't stay on his feet for more than 4 seconds in any altercation he gets in.
But besides the game getting mucked down with all the bullshit once we were up 6-0, the real story was The Mule. Franzen was a man possessed last night and confirmed what we all knew, he is the best playoff player on the Wings. He got it done all sorts of ways too, shelfing a beauty, getting a rebound in front, and even scoring one with his back to the net. He actually had a 5th goal that was later given to Bertuzzi because that fuckin pond rocket threw his hands up so hard that the refs thought he had to have scored it.
It's great to win that one because we had to get it, but the real big one in this whole thing comes tomorrow night back in San Jose. Game 5 will be the toughest game to win in this series, even tougher than returning to San Jose for a possible game 7. Cause once the Wings get game 5 this thing goes from pipe dream to possibility. If they can somehow get game 5 then you know the Joe will be on the verge of exploding when they return for game 6. Count that as a win, probably another 7-1 blowout and then it's back to San Jose with a Sharks team that's scared shitless. Done and done blueskiers, Stanleys coming home. Will someone get my white gloves already?
