Former Michigan basketball coach Brian Ellerbe has been hired as an assistant coach and will be part of the rebuilding and rebranding of DePaul basketball. This isn't really big news outside of Chicago but it did conjure up some post Fisher, pre Amaker Michigan hoop memories. Most notably Tractor Traylor destroying this backboard and then walking back through it as it rained down on him. They were picking glass out of the fat creases on Taylor's back for the rest of the half after this.
PS - Ellerbe went 62-60 while at Michigan but officially has 0 wins as Wolverines head coach because the record books have been expunged due to the Ed Martin scandal. Totallyfuckinbelievable
