Meet The Newest Lion - C.C. Brown
CBS Sports - The Lions have acquired some help at the safety position. C.C. Brown was in Allen Park visiting with the Lions officials Monday and has signed a one-year deal, his agent, Chad Wiestling, confirmed to The Detroit News. Terms of the deal were not immediately available. Brown, a sixth-year pro who began his career in Houston, started seven games for the New York Giants last season. But the 6-foot, 208-pound strong safety was benched after a poor outing in a loss to Philadelphia in early November. He finished with 69 tackles, three passes defensed and three forced fumbles last season.
So I just google searched the newest Lion C.C. Brown and these were the first three pictures that popped up. One hell of a highlight reel, eh? You think Mayhew and The Shwartz were just sitting around Allen Park talking about what it takes to be a Lions safety and the first three things on the list were being able to chase dudes from behind, take stiff arms straight in the face, and get dragged across the goal line. Cause if they were then I think we found our man.

To be fair he is a run stopping safety that the Giants needed to use in pass defense. Good thing the Lions pass D is stout and its a running league.
