QB Laid Out On Trick Play In UMASS Spring Game
I love the way this defensive back plays the game. Back in Pop Warner I used to do this kinda shit all the time. Playing against the offense you could tell what play was coming every time. Yeah, you wanna try and stay honest so the offense can run the play but how do you deny these instincts. You lob up a softball like this to the QB of all people and expect me to not switch into a 12 year old Louis Delmas? C'mon.
I remember my sixth grade year we were scrimmaging the Broncos and my boy Unger was on their team. He told me once during a game of Bond for 64 that he only lined up in the backfield when it was a passing play because he was a better pass protector than the other backs on the team. So every time I saw his ass get in a three point stance in the backfield I shot through a different gap and planted my helmet into the QB's spine. After about 4 or 5 rounds of this I remember their coach grabbing Unger by the face mask and chewing him a new asshole the size of the Grand Canyon. Meanwhile my psycho coach Romie was doing back flips and foaming at the mouth. Yeah, that was probably one of my most proud moments as an athlete. Sorry Unger.
