"The Team That Satisfies" Is Gonna Braveheart The Rest Of The World

The Drambuie Pursuit is a competition of four person teams that compete in a once-in-a-lifetime chance to adventure across the Highlands of Scotland in the footsteps of Drambuie’s creator, Bonnie Prince Charlie. This adventure packed, adrenaline-fueled, 9-stage course escapade includes events such as archery, white water rafting, dune buggy racing, mountain climbing, speedboat racing, mountain biking and more. The Drambuie Pursuit is basically a 100-mile outdoor adventure retracing the steps of Bonnie Prince Charlie as he fled the British Army.

Four of Joeyblueskies' greatest friends are currently in route to Scotland to compete in the famed Drambuie Pursuit. In addition to the many European teams chosen, there were over 17,000 applicants from the US and only four US teams chosen. Obviously the Drambuie braintrust picked my boys because they know we're about to run a train on the most outrageous adventure race you've ever heard of. Lets meet the team...

The Team That Satisfies

Justin Batey

Strength - Winning over Scottish Coeds

Weakness - Easily suckered into having a drink regardless of the situation

Intangibles - Organizational skills

Paul Hanna

Strength - Distracts people by asking "Look what my son can do"

Weakness - Gets distracted saying "Look what my son can do"

Intangibles - When extremely intoxicated and after smoking a cigarette can fit his boneless body through a keyhole.

Ryan Purcell

Strength - More fit than any human I know and throws a lefty forehand

Weakness - Not a Mason

Intangibles - An insatiable hunger to beat everybody at everything

"C" James Batey

Strength - Already biked across the Alps so Scotland ain't shit

Weakness - Too pretty, might break a nail

Intangibles - Survival insticts. Fell off a 3 story balcony and lived. If stranded, can live off puddle water and grubs for 3 days

PS - Best of luck guys and I don't expect anything less than a top ten finish. Make it happen. Or at least you better send JBS love to the ladies of Scotland. Be safe
