Freep - The Detroit Tigers today recalled the contract of outfielder Casper Wells from Triple-A Toledo and optioned the contract of right-handed pitcher Alfredo Figaro to Toledo.
Way to handle this kid's confidence Tigs. You bring my boy up for one appearance, in a game that you completely mailed in against the Yanks and let him get absolutely shelled before you send him packing for Toledo. At least he can watch Bowersox rock the National Anthem tonight at the Mudhens game. I'm jealous.
