And so, recap of fuckin Black Tuesday rolls on. In the midst of the Wings shitting the bed, Ernie Harwell kicking the bucket, and me hitting Meredith with my car, the Tigers decided to drop another chance at a comeback win when Ryan Perry gave up a triple and then threw a wild pitch to score the winning run in the bottom of the ninth. And this was after Boesch hit a jack in the top of the 9th to tie it up 3-3. Totallyfuckinbelievable if you ask me.
Anyway, how the hell is it that Dontrelle Willis is the most stable pitcher on the Tigers thus far? It's especially shocking considering when you watch his ass pitch you can tell he has no idea where the ball is gonna end up. Dude is capable of tossing monster 12 to 6 benders where the bottom falls out on one pitch and then the next pitch he'll air mail one into the third row behind home plate. He's a complete anomaly. But you gotta say one thing for him. Guy has been absolutely battling out there and seems to be enjoying baseball again, it's just a shame that they can't get him a win when he goes out and pitches 5 solid innings with 3 earned runs, 6 K's and only 4 hits.
PS - I never bought into the whole "Dontrelle has an anxiety disorder" thing. No shit he has some anxiety, he forgot how to pitch for a year. It's hard to be the smiling, court jester that everyone loves when you suck and everyone hates you. Glad we're over that and he's back to his old self.
