Someone find this kid for me! Did anyone catch the end of the Michigan-Iowa overtime game? I was biting my nails the whole way. At first I thought it was a lost cause in regulation, then Sims hits that miracle three and I started to think I had a chance. And after a lot of free throw jockying in overtime Michigan had itself in a position to cover the four points with 4 seconds left up by 5.
And then this fuckin ass clown from Iowa comes sprinting down the court, his team losing by 5 and launches a running three that splashes down with no time left to blow the line and fuck everyone and anyone who had this one picked right.
Its not supposed to happen like that. There is no reason for that shot. In bound the ball, sit on the last four seconds and accept being the loser that you are. You don't run down and drain a meaningless shot that will have bookies threatening to cut off your fingers the next day. In fact if this kid had any future he would know that you dont take that shot cause if you miss your 3 pt percentage suffers. I can't believe he did that.
