I Know, Enough Depaul Already

I've been on Depaul's jock a lot lately but another nugget of blogging gold fell into my lap the other day. Our favorite Depaul Blue Demon high flyer, Dar Tucker, went all Isaiah Rider on the D-League slam dunk contest. Apparently the guy would rather jump over backboards for $25,000 a year than stay at Depaul and actually develop a jump shot. They could sure use him these days. They played real tough yesterday and Will Walker can basically hit any shot he wants if he is on. With Dar still on the team I think they could've actually made a run at not being the worst team in the Big East.

Dar plays for the Los Angeles D-Fenders these days and is obviously the one in the Lakers' colors. Pretty sick shit. Best part is when he jumps over the 7 footer at the 1:45 mark. Maybe that is what Darko should do these days. Just rent himself out for dunk contests so that athletic nobodys can jump over him. He has to wear his 2004 NBA Championship ring too when he does it. Cause yeah, if you don't remember, we did that. Go Stones.

Clyde the glide chuckin up his papers after this dunk is what makes it for me. That and the dude Flip Camming the shit out of this at the 2:25 mark. I want that footage. Anyone who can get me that gets a free t-shirt once I start making sweet t-shirts. Coming soon, buy up.

Here is the Isaiah Rider dunk mentioned above. The pure aggression in this dunk is amazing. Guy was my favorite non-piston growing up. Fell in love with him when he won it all at UNLV with coach Jerry Tarkanian. It also never hurt that every few weeks you had a sweet story about him spitting on fans, parking in his coaches space, throwing milkshapes at drive through attendants or getting fined $200,000 cause he refused to go to drug rehab after the NBA caught him smoking weed in his hotel room. Straight Lamborghini Living.

Thanks to JMase for the Dar video
