Villanueva Doesn't Have Cancer, But Apparently He Can't Stop Crying
detroitnews.com- The game is over but the controversy has just begun. Pistons forward Charlie Villanueva, via his Twitter page Wednesday, said Kevin Garnett called him a "cancer patient" during the Celtics' 109-86 win Tuesday at The Palace.
"KG called me a cancer patient," Villanueva wrote. "I'm (upset) because, u know how many people died from cancer, and he's tossing it like it's a joke." Villanueva went a step further online and challenged Garnett, a 6-foot-11, 235-pound NBA All-Star, to a confrontation. "KG talked a lot of crap, he's probably never been in a fight," Villanueva wrote. "I would love to get in a ring with him. I will expose him." Villanueva has alopecia universalis, a condition that results in hair loss. It isn't considered life-threatening or harmful. Villanueva is a spokesman for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation.
Wow. Now I love a good joke, but cancer is still one of those taboo subjects that you just can't make a crack about. Like Aids, blowing stuff up on a plane, or FDR. Actually you can make fun of FDR now, like my new favorite saying "Yeah this place is lamer than FDR's legs..." But cancer? Yikes KG. I knew you were a dick, but you think all those St. Jude's kids would have rubbed off on you a little.
I have a bigger problem with this story though. And it has to do with Villanueva being a bitch and ratting out KG.And all to promote his own membership in the hair club for men?! It's bullshit. Yes, KG, you're not supposed to make cancer jokes, but Villanueva, how about instead of complaining about it after the game to the papers, you fucking take it down the lane and put an elbow in Garnett's face? Send that douche to the hospital and then tell him to get a cancer screen as he's getting carted off the court. This tattle tale shit just pisses me off. I'm not taking KG's side, its just people need to stop complainign so much.
PS. Why the fuck do I care if Villanueva has alopecia universalis? Its more common name is baldness. Don't act like its a big fucking deal. And thanks for the heads up Detroit news that alopecia universalis isn't life threatening. I gave a hundred bucks to a bald dude on the street last week cus he said he was going to die and I believed him. Fuck! We should just get all these people with alopecia universalis and Becker's Nevus together already and get both of these diseases solved as soon as possible. this picture cracks me up by the way.
