Tigers Scalped By Braves
VS
Tigers lost 12-4 to the Braves today. No one had a good day, except D- Willis. Its probably because I was going off on how awesome the Tigers were in an earlier post today. It's all my fault really. And Fu Te Ni's. Dude gave up 3 runs in 1 2/3. Come on. If you were even half as awesome as your name you'd have 3 perfect games already. Maybe your parents should have spent less time thinking of two letter scrabble words to name you and more time teaching you how to kick ass.
PS. Scherzer is a Scheister
I'll give you two stat lines. Both are for Tigers pitchers. One stat line is from a past his prime pitcher who has been sidelined with everything from bad knees to an anxiety disorder and has proven that he can't handle the pressure of the major leagues anymore. The other stat line is from a proposed starter, a proven NL pitcher who is supposed to be an integral piece in a rotation with a few question marks already who the Tigers have touted to no end. Can you guess which is which?
1. IP .1 H 4, R 5, ER 5, BB 3, SO 0, HR 1 ERA 30.86
2. IP 2.0 H 0, R 0, ER 0, BB 1, SO 2, HR 0 ERA 00.00
You won't believe this.
Dontrelle Willis is #2.
Max Scherzer is #1 (except in real life where he is the worst).
Dontrelle, I just want to say, way to go man. Keep on this crazy train. I Hope to see you this happy again soon!
As a side note from MLB.com, "The lone out Scherzer recorded came on an unusual play on the basepaths. Braves leadoff man Omar Infante reached base when third baseman Don Kelly's errant throw sent Miguel Cabrera leaping off the bag to catch it. However, Infante turned toward first base, perhaps thinking the ball had gotten away, and Cabrera tagged him for the putout."
