Tigers took it to the Jays today, finally. Scored in 6 of 9 innings, Inge hit a 3 run jack, and the pitching.... the pitching was great. Robertson gave up 2 runs and 5 hits in 4 1/3 IP. Look at this list of of pitchers who combined for 5 innings, 5 hits, no runs and 5 strike outs: Coke, Willis, Valverde, Rainwater, and Weinhardt. The pitching staff is setting itself up to finally have a strong group of relievers who can pitch the 6th thru 8th without giving up 12 runs. Plus we have an indian spirit guide in Rainwater in case we get lost in the desert during a Western road trip. So jacked for opening day.
