Lions Getting Patriotic On Thanksgiving Day
Freep - Mike Florio at NBC Sports reports that the New York Jets will host a game on Thanksgiving night, and this creates a domino effect that involves the Lions.
“The fact that the Jets will be hosting a Thanksgiving night game means that the Patriots will be traveling to Detroit earlier in the day,” Florio writes. “Because CBS will be televising the game hosted by the Lions, the road team must be from the AFC, and the only AFC teams playing in Ford Field this season will be the Pats and the Jets.”
Look at Sherlock Fuckin Holmes over here piecing this puzzle together. If we could only get Mike Florio to solve some of these unsolved murders in Detroit we might be getting somewhere. But needless to say there's nothing I'm gonna love more than housing some turkey and giving the Patriots a Gen. Cornwallis beat down next Thanksgiving. But I smell a rat here. This is just the NFL tyring to take away the Thanksgiving Day game from Detroit. One or two more years of getting owned on national TV and Goodell will have no choice but to give away our most prized possession as Lions fans. With out backs against the wall I predict Detroit comes to play.
