Looking Like Lions Might Get A Boy Named Suh

The test results are in and OU girls have big...brains

If you are a draft fanatic like myself you know about the Wonderlic Test, which measures an athlete's ability to think and problem-solve. It's basically an insurance policy that lets teams make sure you're not retarded or screwing your sister before they hand you millions of dollars. Edgar Thompson of the Palm Beach Post reportedly leaked some 2010 NFL Combine Wonderlic scores for Tim Tebow, Jimmy Clausen Colt McCoy and Sam Bradford via his Twitter account.

Here are the alleged Wonderlic scores of top NFL prospects. Their score is out of 50:

Sam Bradford - 36
Jimmy Clausen - 23
Colt McCoy - 25
Tim Tebow - 22

To get a bit of perspective here are the average scores of different professions

Chemist – 31
Programmer – 29
Journalist – 26
Sales – 24
Bank teller – 22
Clerical worker – 21
Security guard – 17
Warehouse – 15

That a boy Sammy. Fuckin kid is doing one hell of a job impressing the shit out of St. Louis and the way I see it has basically forced them to draft him. Initially they were worried about how easy he had it at OU and there were a lot of doubts about whether he could make throws under pressure. Not to mention that Sam has a bionic shoulder after two major operations but he showed up at the combine bigger and stronger than he was before his injury and with the way medical science is going he might have a better arm after the surgery ala Drew Brees.

But what impressed people the most was his interview portion of the combine. And I know people are out there saying, who fuckin cares if he has a good personality, you just have to be able to throw the ball. But in today's NFL that is probably the biggest concern teams have when drafting extremely high in the draft. So many kids coming out have the physical tools but very few have the mental toughness and likability to deal with the pressure of being the face of a franchise. And if you are a QB and going #1 then there is no denying that you are gonna be the guy. Same reason the Lions couldn't pass on Stafford last year. So killing the Wonderlic certainly doesn't hurt the chances that St. Louis takes Bradford. Which means a boy named Suh should be falling right into our lap at #2. Oh baby!

PS - Here are some of the notable scores for the 2009 NFL Draft class:

Matthew Stafford – 38
Eben Britton – 31
Mark Sanchez – 28
Josh Freeman – 27
Jeremy Maclin – 25
Eugene Monroe – 24
Jason Smith – 23
Brian Cushing – 23
Clay Matthews – 21
Michael Oher – 19
Andre Smith – 17
Michael Crabtree – 15
Rey Maualuga – 15
Darrius Heyward-Bey – 14
Percy Harvin – 12
Louis Delmas – 12
Hakeem Nicks – 11

I just wanna know how you live with yourself if you get a lower score than Michael Oher on an IQ test? C'mon Delmas the dude couldn't even read till like a year ago.

  3. Alright, I took a practice ten question test and got nine right, so apparently I would get a 44, and I did this while sitting in class and taking notes at the same time. Really Delmas got a 12, idiots, thank god these guys have football. I seriously think you could give this to an 8th Grader and they would at least score a 30. Here is the link for the test I tried.

  5. A few things about the previous comments. Before we start to trash Delmas, I'd like to point out that the test you guys took had 9 questions not 10 as previously stated, it apparently took someone three attempts to get a comment to their liking, and lastly that this test was not taken in anticipation of an NFL career and thus a million dollar paycheck. Stressful. All I'm saying is those in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at Louis Delmas cus he'll eat your children.

That goes for you too JoeyBG.

Here's another test, 20 questions, 5 minutes. A little harder:

  7. Alright I got 18 on your test, but I will drop it down to 17 since one I got wrong earlier I knew the answer to on this one. so basically I got a 41. Again this is pretty bad for people who went to college. and I think you had two tries on your post too. It is a weird posting system, the log in and then other stuff, but basically the point is this test is really easy with a couple 4-5 questions which are actually difficult.
