The Lady Friend and I headed out to the bar last night to watch the Tigers and the NBA finals but I kept getting distracted by a tv way over in the corner that was showing Strasburg's debut for the Washington Nationals. Kid is a god damn monster, a fuckin phenom, a porn star packin 12 inches. He was absolutely dominant in his first game going 7 innings, while giving up four hits and striking out 14! That's one hell of a first game even if you're playing the Pirates. 14 K's is 14 K's any way you look at it. I was really impressed with his filthy curve and his changeup that had a lot of cut to it. Combine that with 98 mph heat and you got the real deal.
