Does This Look Like The Face Of A Guy Who Tried To Trade A Quarter Ounce Of Blue Dream For An IPad
Huffpost - Jacob Walker, 20, of Gilbert, AZ, was arrested on June 10 for allegedly trafficking marijuana over the Internet. According to police, Walker posted a Craigslist ad in which he offered to exchange an 32GB iPod Touch and marijuana for a 32GB iPad. He included pictures of both in his ad. Gilbert police discovered the ad and posed as potential traders, requesting a meeting with Walker at a public location. Walker showed up with the iPod, a quarter-ounce of marijuana, and another man, Joseph Velarde. Police arrested both Walker and Velarde when they presented the illegal substance to police.
Man, talk about your all time back fires. I don't really fault young Jacob Walker for trying to make something happen here. The economy is real rough and if you're standing still in life, then you're going backwards. So I applaud the effort. But I just don't think Jacob did his homework on this one. Those IPad things cost like $500 bucks and he's trying to deal it for an Ipod touch and a quarter of the sticky-icky? Shit doesn't add up. An Ipod touch is only gonna bring you about $250 and unless this is melt into the couch type stuff you're not gonna get any more than $120 for the shwizz. Best case scenario, you're looking at $370 worth of goods, and you're asking for $500 in return? No wonder the only people you could get to show up were undercover cops. Not to mention it's a lot easier to get weed than it is to get your hands on one of these IPads. Especially if you're Chinese.
