As Much As I Hate Him, Jim Joyce Is A Man

Well, I've cooled off a bit since watching the Tigers pump the Indians and Mags almost hit for the cycle today but I cant lie, this still burns. I'm basically over being pissed at Jim Joyce, I just still feel so bad for Armando. But the fact of the matter is that Jim Joyce couldn't have handled this any better. He fucked up and was a man about it so I guess we gotta get over it. This afternoon when he came out and took the lineup card from Galaragga was the turning point for me. Seeing him noticeably upset by the warm welcome that the Detroit faithful gave him kinda changed my opinion of this disaster. Despite our lack of money and jobs, it turns out we are still relatively forgiving. But don't get it twisted, I'm gonna heckle his ass every time I see him doing a game from here on out.



It's like everyone keeps saying, "the guy is human and there is a human element to baseball" and I agree. It just blows that it happened to us.

PS - You better believe that if I had been at this 1pm game I would've been so hungover that I'd boo the shit outta Joyce but for some reason it looked like there wasn't even anyone there. Must've been all that Detroit traffic. Lions probably had an open practice across the street or something.
