About a month ago Bart Scott was bitching that the Lions were the dirtiest team he's played all year. I thought that was funny coming from him as he was throwing punches and starting shit the entire game. Classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. Then last Monday as the Jets were getting bent over by the Pats Scott absolutely blew up Wes Welker totally away from the ball. The hit was a total forearm to the back of the head and would fall into the category of an Ed Hochuli unnecessary non-football act. So why no call and why no fine? You push Cutler in the back and it's 15 yards and $15000 but take off Wes Welkers head and you're all good cause he's not the face of the franchise. If the NFL was serious about keeping players safe why only protect a select few?
