After being down in this game the Wings showed some real heart and came back. Zetterberg and Lidstrom both got their first goals of the season and Datysuk and Filppula had terrific backchecks that lead to goals, one of which was the game winner. Never giving up on the puck will be critical for the Wings success this year. Jimmy Howard had 34 saves on 36 shots, several of which were point blank chances. I'm still not sold on the young tender but games like this go a long way in making me a believer. Howard looked calm, cool and collected no matter the situation. We also got a ton of scoring chances any time Datsyuk took a draw, he was brilliant all night.
