I don't even know what to do with myself after a win. I'm so used to just putting the loss immediately outta my mind until like Thursday when I finally get around to looking at next weeks opponent. But not this week. I can't stop thinking about our defense after that dominating performance and our NFC leading offense. Like who would've thought Alphonso Smith was legit,oh that's right I did, or that the Lions would be leading the NFC in points without Stafford? Okay didn't see that one coming.

But let's get down to brass tax over here. BMase and I made a fantasy football trade this week because I have Tom Brady who was on a bye and I needed a QB. Bmase has three so I went to him. I got Kyle Orton and Bmase took Kenny Britt. The following is the shit storm that ensued...

this whole league is a fucking joke. kenny britt for kyle orton? you gotta be fucking kidding me. the worst part? commish has to sign off on these trades... AND HE DID. this week is under protest due to collusion (look it up monty) between the mason brothers.

commish, you need to retroactively put vince young as jbs hq's QB for the week. and also, mase hasn't even paid yet. pretty sure you said some sort of "roster freeze" was in place until the owner paid? what happened to that?

I Obviously Respond, and rather calmly I Might Add:

First off I don't think being 1-3 and threatening to get your money back is reasonable. I'm sure the Lions would like to have a do over on the season too but it ain't gonna happen. And as far as my dues go, Reick can have his money whenever he chooses, the reason he doesn't have it yet is because he wanted half my dues paid in JBS gear and the rest paid in cash. He told me to wait till he moved back to Michigan before I sent him the gear. Soon as I get an address and an order, my dues will be in.

But that's all beside the point. The real issue here is if Bmase and I collusioned or collided or collusigandered or whatever when trading Orton for Brit.

Only reason I went to Bmase was because he had 3 QB's on his team and I figured he was the best person to get one from because of that. When I approached him about needing a QB I asked for Shaun Hill because he seemed like the worst of the three he had on his roster.

Bmase said that he was keeping Hill this week cause he was gonna skeet skeet all over the Rams and that he was gonna start Favre from next week on because Randy is back in Minnesota. So he asked how I liked Orton. Bmase had only started him once thus far anyway. I offered Britt who has been getting hotter and hotter and has scored a TD in each of the last three weeks including 16 something points this week. He accepted and I asked Reick to sign off on it so that it could get done for this week. Reick did nothing wrong in this whole thing and neither did we. Bmase still has 2 QB's and now has a wideout who is averaging +10 points/game over the last 3 weeks. I have Orton who I most likely won't start over Tom Brady anyway.

If you want me to trade him back I'll trade him back, but I don't think you should be asking for me to start Vince Young this week. That's absurd. Plus all you need is a decent day from the Vikings D and you're gonna win this one anyone and then all this bitch'n has been for nothing.

PS - I also caught tons of shit two years ago for picking up an injured Tom Brady off the waiver wire in this exact same keep em league. You don't put a franchise guy like Brady whose out for the season on the wire unless of course you want someone who's actually paying attention to snatch him up and keep him for the next year.

the fact of the matter is that Kyle Orton for Kenny Britt is a not a fair trade. nobody else in the league with bmase's roster would have accepted that trade.

the whole point of having the commissioner sign off on trades is so that shit like this doesn't happen.

i don't know why riecks gives you a longer leash than everyone else. he drafted a better team than his own for you and now lets you get away with this shit.

regardless of if I win this week or not, bush league trades like that should not be tolerated. if i wanted to be in a joke of a league i would have joined the one at work.

is this real life? to each his own bitches. your acting like orton is peyton manning and brit is bryant johnson. This isnt a co-op. Im sure the NFC north is pissed that the Pats traded moss to vikings for nothing, but they aint complaining to the league. My GM instincts tell me Brett Favre is my quarterback. I dont know what it is, maybe its the fact he sends dick shots to slut interns with no disregard. But if I plan to start favre the rest of the year, what value does orton have to Brian Mason. I guess if I was more worried about my 50 bucks I would have written a post about how Orton is on the block and I'm taking offers yada yada yada. Truth is I don't. thats why I spent last years draft sleeping in the back of a parked car and sundays this year trying to forget I even have siblings. Matt called me up and proposed a trade. Its "fantasy football" my team blows and I needed a lift. I origionally asked for Devon Bess, but I'm not sure if thats better or worse. Maybe fantasy football god gadosh can chime in?

P.S. - I even did the yahoo application of "is this trade fair" where it projects your lineup the rest of the year, and orton was never even projected to be my starter. we may need to look this up, but im pretty sure i picked orton up off waivers a few weeks back. this is an undrafted quarterback. maybe im a 'tard for not realizing Orton is joe montana, but i put him in the class as chad pennington.
