Michigan does things the Hard-a-Way Against Iowa

After jumping up early in the first half the Wolverines did everything they could to blow their lead and essentially any long shot tourney hopes they were clinging to. But even with the retched 3 point shooting from most of the team, a few Wolverines refused to go quietly. Hardaway was 5 for 7 from beyond the arc and threw down an absolutely vicious fast break dunk on his way to a 30 point night. Darius Morris also chipped in with 20 of his own and was the only player in Maize and Blue that took the ball to the basket. More importantly, Jordan Morgan continued to be a presence down low and his two clutch free throws to tie the game at the end of regulation were huge.

Michigan still has their work cut out for them with MSU, Minnesota, and Wisconsin remaining on the schedule and at least 2 wins needed for tournament consideration. It's definitely not out of the question but a lot more 3's are gonna have to start falling if the Wolverines wanna go dancing.
