Pizza Delivery Guy Shoots Assailant
Detroit — A pizza delivery man thwarted a robbery attempt Sunday night when he fatally shot one of the men allegedly trying to rob him on the city's east side. The man was making a delivery about 9:55 p.m. on the 20200 block of McCormick when he was approached by three men, Detroit police spokesman Yvette Walker said. At least one of the men was armed, police said. The delivery man pulled a handgun and shot at the suspects, killing one of them. It was unclear if the delivery man had a license to carry a concealed firearm, Walker said. Police are continuing their investigation into the case.
You're not sure if he had a license to carry a gun? Ahhh, being a pizza delivery guy in Detroit IS a license to carry a gun.
PS - The Detroit Police Department just released this photo of the man killed during the attempted pizza heist.
