You just knew that the Wings weren't gonna pull that game out. They got the early goal but the only line that was buzzing at all was Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Holmstrom. Everyone else couldn't get sustained offensive zone pressure and ended up just chasing in our own zone. Thank to fuckin god that Jimmy Howard, the one guy you might expect to be rusty, was sharp as a whistle. I really hope the Wing wake up in game two, get all the lines going, and stop taking the penalties that the officials are just waiting to give them.
PS - The 4 minute double minor in OT was absurd and very reminiscent of last years' series against the Sharks. Total bullshit.
