Missed the whole god damn thing start to finish. Was real distracted at the beer garden and even shrugged off the update I got from John Falls about the Tigers being up 7-0 in the 6th. I think I might just give up watching Detroit sports in general so they can be rid of my curse. It's cool. When we win the Super Bowl, World Series, Stanley Cup, and NBA Championship in the same year I'll cheer on the inside.

The Marlboro Man loved every minute of this. After both of JV's no hitters Leyland has given him the most fatherly of embraces.
I'm real glad Avila got to catch this one. With another jack today he's most certainly regained his confidence at the plate and calling this no hitter should do wonders to boost his confidence behind it.

Only thing that dirtys this up at all was when Cabrera pinched the ball between his forearm and right testicle. It was an amazing play by Verlander to even get there but I'm not confident that should've been an out. Whatever, we're owed 2 million of those every day for the rest of our lives after the Jim Joyce call.
PS - Buy Jim Joyce shirts. These things aren't getting anyone laid sitting in my closet.
