Gosder Gets His Workout On
Cherilus was one of about 30 Lions to take part in a player-organized workout at Birmingham Detroit Country Day's indoor practice facility Monday. He moved freely in position drills, took part in the same running and strength-training workout as the rest of his teammates and said afterward his knee felt good. "I'm on schedule, just getting my knee strength back and doing what I'm asked to do," Cherilus said. "You saw everything I just did. I just did everything they put me through and we're still progressing." A first-round pick in 2008, Cherilus was having his best season as a Lion last year when he suffered a right knee injury on Thanksgiving Day. He had surgery in December and missed the final four games.
Don't know why but Gosder has always been close to my heart. I think it's probably because he personifies all the "what the fuck" Millen draft picks. Oh and I've been absolutely addicted to any off-season workout of his since this combine video.
Here are a few more pics of his strenuous workout yesterday at Detroit Country Day.
