D Hart Breaks Hearts in Ann Arbor
Freep: Four-star running back Demetrius Hart, perhaps the most highly regarded verbal commitment in Michigan's 2011 recruiting class, has decommitted from U-M and committed to Alabama, according to the Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News. The Orlando native committed to U-M in October. He is rated by rivals.com as the No. 1 all-purpose back in the senior class. He attended Alabama's rout of Michigan State in the Capital One Bowl on Saturday, according to the paper. “It’s a pro-style offense, you have coach (Nick) Saban, he will get you ready for the league,” Hart told the paper of the Tide.
Son of a fuckin bitch. Just when things seemed like they couldn't get much worse here in Ann Arbor we go and lose our top recruit because of the uncertainty the whole Rich Rod saga has created. We need Harbaugh and his recruiting class real bad now cause the way things are shaping up it looks like D Hart is gonna end up at Bama spending his New Years Day putting up 49 on MSU. Booooooooooom roasted.
PS - That was a cheap shot on MSU, I just couldn't help myself. All I gotta say is that at least we're getting rid of our coach after getting dick stomped in our bowl game. You guys are crowning yours the second coming of Biggie Munn.
PSS - Anyone wathcing this Stanford/Va Tech game? Harbaugh is the best coach in the country.
