Michigan defensive tackle Mike Martin will return for his senior season this fall. Martin applied to the NFL advisory committee to assess his draft status and received his report: middle rounds. "I'm staying," said Martin, the team's defensive lineman of the year the past two seasons. "The opportunity was one I wanted to look at and talk about. If an opportunity was given to me, I will lay my cards down and look at it."
Even though Matt Millen thinks Martin is some sort of football god I still kinda like the kid. He's was easily the best player on our defense last year and getting him back for his senior year is the only way our D doesn't get ass raped by everybody in the Big 10 next year. Now all we gotta do is see if former 5-star DT recruit William Campbell can be reconverted back to the defensive side of the ball after Dick Rod had him playing offensive guard.
