So I pretty much made the biggest blunder of my life yesterday missing out on this Tigers Budweiser hat. I threw in an early bid roughly 4 hours before the end of the auction thinking that in case I got sidetracked later in the day I'd still have a shot if no one else bid. I mean at that point it had been up for six plus days without even a whiff of a bid. But of course things blew up in my face at work and sure as shit the auction ended as I was on the train ride home from work. I would've easily gone up to $25 bucks on this hat and with my last second sniping abilities this thing should've found a home on top of my head.
In an effort to lift my spirits I kept my search on and somehow found myself in the realm of sports collectibles, which triggered a memory of my 1990-1991 SCORE NHL box set that I have chillin in a closet at my parents house. Back in the day the Lindros rookie cards that came in that were going for like $80 a piece. Figured I could probably sell a few of those and get some extra bar money for the Wings' playoff run.
