Restricted free-agent forward Darren Helm has re-signed with the Red Wings for two seasons. Financial terms were not announced. Helm, 23, had 11 goals and 13 assists in 75 games last season. He was drafted by the Wings in the fifth round in 2005.
Nightmare on Helm Street is back for another year. Ken Holland just continues to put the pieces of the puzzle together.
