The UFL Is Getting It's Role On

Former Detroit Lions quarterback Daunte Culpepper has signed with the Sacramento Mountain Lions of the United Football League.
Culpepper will be reunited with former Minnesota Vikings coach Dennis Green in the second UFL season, which kicks off this fall.
Added Green: “Bringing a player of Daunte’s caliber to the Mountain Lions is a major step forward not only for the team but also for the UFL. He is a player who will excite the fans here and will be an integral part of the team we are building that we hope can bring a championship to Sacramento. On a personal note, I am delighted to be reunited with Daunte.”

Going to miss Daunte. Easily had the best celebration in sports, unfortunately I think I saw it once in Detroit, and it was during the preseason. This might even make me watch the UFL now. Sacramento should give Chuck Rogers or Scotty Anderson a look. Those guys both need a 5th chance, and that's what the UFL is for, right? Anyway, lets send Daunte off in style. Check out him work this South Beach crowd. Keeping the fans excited in California shouldn't be a problem.
