SWEEP! SWEEP! Can you believe it? I can! Oh sweet joyous day. Here's where I said this needed to happen for us to be competitive: click here if you like laughing and learning... both are fun! I'm awesome. But the Tigers are even better. I mean they did go 6-15 with RISP yesterday (15 opportunities?!) but they had 19 hits! Every starter had at least 2 hits (except Don Kelly, but its been a while since Stretch has been in the line up) and Santiago went 4-4 with 3 runs and an RBI. Good for him. Bondo played the janitor, both completing the sweep and cleaning up the locker room after. He went 7 innings with 5 hits, 2 runs, and 7 strike outs. Great pitching from a guy who should be working behind the counter at a Popeye's chicken somewhere with all that ink.
Next up, we've got Arizona (we should murder them) and the Mets (who have been killing it lately, but come on, they're the Mets, someone needs to take em down a notch). Can you say 4 in a row?
