"Guess Who's Back, Back Again, Stafford's Back, Tell A Friend". Preferably A Hot Blonde With Huge Cans

Freep - Stafford erased any lingering doubt about the health of his shoulder near the end of practice, when he unleashed one of his usual big-air bombs to practice-squad receiver Alric Arnett. “He launched one just to let everybody know he’s still got it,” receiver Mike Moore said. “I think he threw it probably like 70 yards in the air … and everybody was like, 'We know he’s back.'” Stafford pronounced himself healthy for the first time today. He called his injury “an AC separation,” the first time anyone from the Lions identified the diagnosis publicly, and said he’s close to 100% after missing the last five games. “I don’t know if it’s 100 or 98 or 99, it’s right up there,” Stafford said. “I feel good.”

It's gonna be absolutely great to have Stafford back after the bye week and his return will mark the start of a new season for our beloved Lions. Realistically we're not gonna make the playoffs but it doesn't really matter cause anyone telling you that we were gonna at the beginning of the season was eating some spiked cornbread. What this will give us is a barometer for where the Lions are at in their rebuilding process. We'll finally have our quarterback of the future working with the new offensive weapons around him and it's not unlikely that we still get the 5 wins I predicted at the beginning of the season. In fact I could see us winning 5 of our remaining 9 games and surpassing that total. With our new defensive front and surprising secondary play, I'm legitimately optimistic about the future here in Detroit. We just need to convince Stafford to look Calvin's way more than once anytime we reach the 30, and I mean our own 30 cause with him launching 70 yard bombs there is no reason Calvin shouldn't get 10 more TD's down the stretch. I kinda wish we had Shaun Hill's mentality in Matt Stafford's body.
