Draper's Balls Ache. Out 4-6 Weeks After Hernia Surgery

While the Detroit Red Wings worked on their power play this afternoon at City Ice Arena, preparing for Thursday’s game against Calgary, forward Kris Draper was in Philadelphia, finding out that he has a hernia. “Draper will have surgery tomorrow and is out four to six weeks,” general manager Ken Holland said. Holland said the Wings won't put Draper on long-term injured reserve because they don't need to yet. Draper, 39, has been out since training camp, when he hurt his groin. As that injury healed, Draper noticed a different, nagging pain, and after weeks of rest didn’t make a difference, he headed to Philadelphia to see specialist Dr. William Meyer.

Sucks losing Drapes for over a month because his nuts hurt but the Wings seem to be doing just fine without him these days. I gotta be honest though, had to look up just what exactly a sports hernia was. Knew it had to do with your balls but I just didn't get what caused it. After hitting up Wikipedia I still don't really have a fuckin clue what it is. All I know is Draper can't catch a break man. This might even be slightly worse than having surgery on your entire face.
