Oh, ho hum, just another day at joeyblueskies.com when one of our frequent fliers gets nominated for the biggest individual award in college hockey, the Hobey Baker. For the 99.9% of you who've never heard of it, it's basically the Heisman of hockey. We did a little story about Solway awhile back not only because he used to play with BMase in Green Bay but the clip of him getting speed bagged by some dude is probably the funniest shit i've ever seen. Make sure you click on the link and turn up the volume cause these might be the best two announcers in amatuer hockey history.
But anyway, Solway has come a long way and is now actually nominated for the grandest prize in all the college hockey land. I feel it's our duty now to give him some press and send some votes his way. So go to hobeybakeraward.com and get your vote on blueskiers. I think our goal should be to get him 1% of the vote. I'd consider that a victory.
